JOSSA (Jyoti Samari Service Association) is a registered, non-governmental, non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit, benevolent and humanitarian voluntary organization. It is based in Kathmandu; registered with the District Administration office of Kathmandu (DAO no. 820/057/058); and affiliated with Social Welfare Council of Nepal (SWC no.12042). Child labor and street children are now recognized as major social problems in Nepal.
